The Oklahoma United Methodist Circle of Care has cared for Oklahoma children and youth through residential and foster care families since 1917. The Cookson Hills Center has been a very significant part of the mission work of the United Methodist Women in Oklahoma since 1948. The presence of the United Methodist among rural, low-income people in Northeastern Oklahoma has shown an important aspect of the way we care for others as concerned Christian people. Oklahoma City University is a coeducational, urban private university located in Oklahoma City, in the Midtown district. The university is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and offers a wide variety of degrees in the liberal arts and sciences disciplines. CJAMM mission is to serve Jesus Christ through developing Christian relationships with people behind prison walls, helping them to break generational cycles of prison, addiction, and parental abandonment with the love and support of the Church. Many volunteers and CJAMM staff minister to inmates, former inmates, and their families
