|Small Group Ministries
At Memorial Drive UMC, we strive to grow in our discipleship journey through small groups and Bible studies. We have many wonderful ministries for all ages, including Sunday School classes.
|• Prayer Card Ministry
Every Tuesday at 1:00 PM, we have a group of prayer warriors that send cards to different members of the church in need. These cards are hand-colored, prayed over as a group, and signed by our pastor. This ministry always welcomes those who want to lift up those in prayer.
|• Yet to be
We have a very active group of ladies called the Yet to Be group. This is more than just a widows ministry it is also a monthly social time.
|• Some members meet the last Friday of each month at 7:30 a.m. for breakfast at the Silver Skillet at 61st and Memorial. Everyone is invited.
|• Helping Hands
Helping Hands is a mission-oriented project with those participating making hats, walker bags, lap quilts and stuffed animals which they donate to hospitals and nursing homes. They also have been making quilts for the Child Abuse Network. Join them on Tuesdays at 9 a.m. in Wesley Chapel.
|• Piecemaker Quilters
The MDUMC Piecemaker Quilters (formed in June 1985) They have turned many unfinished quilt tops into family heirlooms. It generally takes a year or more
to finish each quilt.
You are invited to join the quilters on Tuesdays at 9 am in Wesley Chapel.
