Children's Ministries

"Train children in the right way, and when old, they will not stray." -Proverbs 22:6

Children are an essential part to our ministry at Memorial Drive UMC, not only as future leaders of the church, but as active believers in the body of Christ. We believe that by including children in our ministry, they will grow in faith and love and in their relationship with Christ.

We have many opportunities for children to get involved at Memorial Drive UMC. First, we have Sunday School in our children's wing for ages (3 yrs. to 5th grade) at 8:45 a.m. On Sunday mornings, during worship they may participate in the children's moments. During the year we have opportunities for an Easter Egg Hunt, Trunk or Treat, and Family Christmas. In the summertime, we have Vacation Bible School and go to church camps so that we may be able to spread God's love.
